Yes, it's that time of year again. Christmas is just weeks away, and with all the family gatherings, social events, lists, shopping, gift wrapping and cooking, why not let us do some of your baking? Our Christmas cookies are just as delicious as they are eye catching. Let us personalize a batch for a special someone - or for you!

Valentine's Day Cookies

It's that time again - Valentine's Day is only three weeks away! Yes, you heard right, just three weeks from now. So plan ahead and place an order to treat someone special. 


They were a big hit last year - Perfect for your guy (who may not appreciate flowers), a thoughtful "I love you" for your girl (along with some flowers, maybe?), or a surprise treat for friend...or you could just use Valentine's day as an excuse to treat yourself.


We will be going to Texas on Feb. 11th for our Grandpa's 92nd birthday - so all orders must be placed by February 6th and will be delivered or shipped by February 10th. If you want to hide them until the official day, they do keep very well for at least a week (as we deliver them very fresh!)...but good luck with the whole waiting to eat them thing. Hey, early Valentine's are sure to score you some brownie points, right?

Welcome Back Fall Cookies - and - Introducing....the Pumpkin Roll!

And then it was November. Just like that. That means that Thanksgiving is just around the corner and our Fall cookies are available again!

Before I show you pictures of all our lovely Fall cookie selection, I'd like to tell you about a new goody we have available, the Pumpkin Roll. This addictive addition is a moist pumpkin cake rolled up with a sweet, smooth cream cheese filling and sliced up into approximately 16 servings. We are selling them for $14 a roll. These are perfect to have on hand for company, parties...or just you and your family. They also freeze and thaw fantastically - so you can stock up and pop them out a roll at a time or just a few slices at a time. We will include freezing and thawing instructions with your roll. Here is a picture. Go brew some coffee and enjoy...

And now for our Fall cookies. We have the same selection as last year - but we are always open to new requests and will gladly customize your order!

 We have different boxes this year, but you can still add a bow to our white bakery box for a special touch.

 Turkey 

This is our place card cookie - we can do any of the shapes. The pumpkin and turkey cookies are a little bit larger than the leaves. As with all our cookies, we can write custom messages for you such as "Happy Thanksgiving" "Welcome Home" "Give Thanks" etc.

Orders may be placed as far in advance as you wish. We do ask for at least 48 hours notice to avoid rush charges. We will gladly ship our cookies if you (or the recipient) live too far for hand delivery. If you are having cookies shipped, we suggest ordering cookies without sticks as we cannot promise the cookies on sticks will arrive in one piece at the other end.

This week, Angela and I got to decorate these Star Wars cookies for a boy's birthday party. Since Angela isn't what you'd call a Star Wars enthusiast, I was happy to serve as the geek consultant on hand. It was a nice change to do something a little different from the more girly cookies we decorate.

Monogrammed Cookies

A while back, a good friend asked us to bake some special monogrammed cookies as party favors for her vow renewal/wedding anniversary celebration. We were in the midst of several holiday cookie projects so I never got the chance to share them with you...until now!

To match her colors, we mixed the warm mocha for the lettering and used pearl dust to add shimmer to the background. It was a good opportunity to learn how to get the elegant font she chose just right. Special cookies for a sweet friend's special occasion!

It's Not Too Late to Order Mother's Day Cookies!

So, Mother's Day has snuck up on you? Yeah, us too. In fact, just in case you didn't know, it's one week from today. But don't worry all you well intentioned, yet busy sons and daughters, we're here for you! It's not too late to put an order in for some beautiful, delicious cookies your Mom will love. You still have now through Wednesday, May 4th to place an order and get your cookies in time for Mom appreciation day.

It's hard to believe Valentine's day is just around the corner with all the snow on the ground here in Georgia. I guess it's the southerner in me that can't seem to associate Valentine's Day with snow (even though it's perfectly normal to snow in February...it's still in the winter after all!) Anyway - baking up and looking at the pictures of these Valentine's day cookies were just the wake up call and colorful touch my mid January day needed.
